My name is Brandon Shaffer. I’m a proud father and Navy veteran, and I’m running for Congress in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.
I'm tired of listening to the bickering on cable every night. I’m tired of the continued failures of Washington, which are chipping away at the middle class.
I'm a third generation Coloradan. After graduating from Denver East High School, I worked my way through college on an ROTC scholarship, and I proudly served our country in the Navy. I met my wife while I was deployed and she's an elementary school teacher in Longmont.
Like many of you, I'm concerned for future generations of Coloradans, like my two children Dylan and Madison. That’s why I'm running for Congress.

Despite an occasional difficult vote, my time in the Senate has given me so much happiness and satisfaction over the years. For that I’m grateful, and I look forward to getting to know even more voters in the 4th Congressional District.
